First of all, I would like to thank my lecturer Dr Adeline and Dr Phelim for giving me the opportunity to contribute something to the community in this case to the children at Rumah Victory and I would definitely keep contributing to the community in different ways in the upcoming future. I have understood that not everyone is as gifted as me, thus, I should always be humble and keep looking for ways to help the community surrounding me. I have learnt from the children at Rumah Victory that being thankful for what we own today is very significant which most of do not practice doing. Another thing that I learnt is that I tend to gain happiness when I see other people enjoying and being happy. The sense of welcoming should be shown to everyone despite the differences among us. Besides that, I have experienced that friendliness is the major component that makes us feel connected and helps us relate to others. I have also learnt that language is not a barrier among individuals with different races.

As the leader of the team, I always wanted all the team members to share their opinion as collaboration is the key to success. From this module, I have improved my leadership skills as well as my communication skills. I have learnt that participation and involvement are two important components needed in a group work and a leader should always accept input from group members in order to make an overall best decision. I experienced that team members tend to work better when they are involved in the process and have a clear list of task that needs to be done rather than when being controlled. One of the major lesson that this event has taught me is that when something goes wrong, I should continue finding for a solution rather than giving up. Moreover, I have personally experienced that a supportive feedback from a person helps in developing self-confidence. I also learnt that suggestions should be always welcomed in a group work as it helps in deciding the direction of the group.
